Once approved, Drew will fill the seat vacated by
Donald Gibb, who resigned in October due to a move outside of the
District. Gibb was elected to the Board in 2013.
Drew will serve the remainder of the seat’s six-year term, which
will expire in April, 2019 and informed the Board he does not plan
to seek election for the seat.
The Trustee seat Drew has been nominated to fill is one of three
six-year term positions open on the Heartland Board of Trustees
commencing no later than May 2, 2019. One two-year term position
will also be open on the Board.
