That can only mean that the holidays are fast approaching. And,
the Olympia Kiwanis Club is busy planning the 2018 Christmas
Parade! This year’s theme is CHRISTMAS IN THE LAND OF LINCOLN.
Grand Marshall honors go to Neill Keneipp, Minier’s Village
President and a fellow Kiwanian. Neill’s long service to Minier
and the Olympia School district is well known. Kiwanis is
				pleased to honor Mr. Keneipp.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 1st and line Main
Street in Minier to usher in the holiday season. The Parade
starts at 2 p.m. Santa will arrive on the parade route, and
after the parade, he will greet children at the Fire Station.

If you club, church, business or organization wishes to enter a
float, please go to www.Minier.com to access an application
form. Prizes are given for floats.

Again this year, the Olympia Kiwanis Club will sponsor the
Town-wide Decorating Contest. Dig out the lights and decs and
put your home or business in the holiday spirit. Three prizes
will be awarded for the best decorations.

The Olympia Kiwanis Club serves the children and schools of the Olympia
District. We are proud to sponsor the Olympia Key Club which is the student
organization of Kiwanis International. Our Oly students provide service to the
schools, their neighborhoods and our communities. Each year the Kiwanis Club
gives a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who has given outstanding
service. Our thanks to Connie Schroeder who is the Key Club sponsor.

Why not consider joining this active organization in making our communities and
our schools a better place to live, work, and learn. Contact Carolyn Hansen,
