The event raises funds for the local Lifeline program. This year,
the event will take place at the American Legion on Monday, December
3, 2018 at noon. Lunch will be catered by Pat Bay of LincolnLand
			Catering.
More than 100 people attend the luncheon and card party annually.
Participants can enjoy lunch and if they choose, join an optional
game of bridge or pinochle, or both. Tickets are $15.

Lynne Metz, Director of Hospitality and Volunteer Services at ALMH,
expressed her gratitude for the support of the Lifeline program.

“We are blessed to have the Auxiliary, which through fundraising
efforts and donors has been able to keep Lifeline going over the
years,” Metz said. “Lifeline does offer family members a lot of
peace of mind for their loved ones who are home by themselves.”

Lifeline is an easy-to-use personal response service worn as a pendant or a
wristband that ensures assistance and a quick response from emergency services.
The service is a vital component to helping more people in our community live
independently and safely in their homes. The event profits help fund the
purchase of new Lifeline units and replacement batteries. ALMH staff members
install, maintain, and educate the user and family members in homes and
apartments throughout Logan, DeWitt, and eastern Mason Counties.

Special Services Department directly at 217-605-5701.
