LINCOLN
- “I am blessed to have grown up in Lincoln when I did,” says
Marilyn Altman. There was a time when it was just a given that
everyone believed in our town. Our own little Mayberry, if you will.
I’d love to see that same joy brought back into our community.”

Altman took it upon herself to design, have printed
and distribute a truly eye catching, “Lincoln Railer green” sign
that simply says “I Believe in Lincoln.” This extremely well
received sign is quickly appearing in a growing number of store
front windows downtown. Many appreciate its powerful message.
“The city of LaSalle, located about two hours north,
has a similar sign and they graciously assisted us,” says Altman.
“LaSalle has really done some great things in their down town area
in recently years.”
