Michael David Hayes, 57, of
Lincoln, passed away October 20, 2018 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Cremation rites have been
accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Michael was born June 23, 1961 in Waukegan, IL., the
son of Robert and Helen Hayes. He married Sharon
Smitherman in 2009. He proudly served his country in
the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife Sharon, daughter Nancy
Sue Hayes, step children Edward Morrow (Dawn),
Derrick Ramsey, and Frog (Ashley) Ramsey; 5
grandchildren; brother Deneen (Blanche) Rose and
sister Debbie Hayes.
Memorial donations may be made to diabetes research.
