Wells Named ALMH October Employee of the Month

[November 20, 2018]  Rita Wells of Lincoln has been named the October Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Wells serves as a payroll specialist.

Wells has worked at ALMH for 23 years in the accounting department at ALMH. She was recognized for the honor by an anonymous co-worker.

“Rita has been instrumental in the successful implementation of the new payroll platform. She quickly became a subject matter expert which was a tremendous help to the staff. Rita is always helpful with payroll questions; when issues arise, she goes out of her way to problem solve until a proper resolution has been achieved. She displays a positive and professional attitude when serving others. We are all grateful for her expertise and even better, the courtesy she exhibits to us,” said the nomination.

Every day is different according to Wells. She appreciates new projects and challenges in her position and notes that the people are the true reason she enjoys her position.

“I enjoy the interaction I have with the employees. I work with different departments and am able to get to know a lot of people,” said Wells.
