- Bradley Gillis, 50, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of
Jacksonville, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on November 13, 2018 at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Obituary
Bradley Gillis, 50, of Mount Pulaski,
formerly of Jacksonville, passed away at 11:00 a.m.
on November 13, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.
Bradley was born on October 9, 1968 in Jacksonville,
son of Clifford and Dorothy (Beahl) Gillis. He
married Patti Scanlon on June 11, 2018 in
Springfield. She survives him.
Also surviving is his mother of Jacksonville, his
children: John Gillis of Beardstown, Brittany
(Vanessa) Jacquot of Marion, Ashley Gillis of
Beardstown, Brian Scanlon of Mount Pulaski, Hunter
Gillis of Jacksonville and Gerica Gillis of
Jacksonville; one brother Loren (Judy) Myers of Port
Ritchie; three grandchildren and several nieces,
nephews, and cherished friends. He was preceded in
death by his father and three brothers: Ronnie,
Raymond, and Dick, and one infant daughter: Maria. |
Bradley worked for the State of
Illinois as a security officer for Jacksonville
Developmental Center. He was an avid trapper,
hunter, and fisherman.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
