Obituary
Rose Anne Fox Craig, 74, of
Waynesville, passed away at her home on Thursday,
November 15, 2018.
She was born November 29, 1943, in Francesville,
Indiana, the daughter of Louis and Mary Margaret
Noonan Fox. On August 12, 1967, she married the love
of her life, Russel D. Craig. He proceeded her in
death February 12, 2016. They had two daughters.
Rose Anne touched many lives through her work in the
McLean-Waynesville Grade School. Students continued
to tell her the impact she had on them and favorite
stories they remembered about things she did for
them. She considered all of the children in that
school as ‘her own’ and was always there with a
band-aid, an ear to listen, or a quick hug.
Rose Anne was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church
in Atlanta, as well as the Waynesville American
Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed being around friends
and family and could always be counted on to bring a
smile to the faces of those she cared about.
