The West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines
punched their ticket to the 2018 Seventh Grade Class 1A State
Tournament on Wednesday night by defeating Roanoke 51-14 in the
Sectional Championship.
The Lady Wolverines were led in scoring by Kloe Froebe with 25
points. Froebe added 5 assists.
WLB (26-0) will play Ashland A-C Central (21-4) in the opening
round of the state tournament on Saturday at Central A & M
Middle School in Assumption. Game time is 10 a.m.
The winner will play Saturday night at 5 p.m. The third place
and championship games of the state tournament will take place
on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
