Lady Toppers defeat Monticello 56-45
Isabella Wade leads Mount Pulaski with 21 points

[November 30, 2018] 

The Lady Toppers Varsity Basketball Team defeated Monticello 56-45 Thursday night at the Ed Butkovich Gymnasium.

Mount Pulaski led at the end of the first quarter 16-15 and extended that to a 33-26 lead at halftime. After three quarters the Lady Toppers were up 46-32. Mount Pulaski had little trouble scoring the win, with the final resting at 56-45.

Isabella Wade's 21 points led all scorers. Skylar Hayes finished with 17 points and Savanah Moore tossed in 11 points.

Mount Pulaski improves to 4-2 on the season.

The Mount Pulaski JV team lost to Monticello by a score of 54-34. Katelyn Eskew, Xzandria Turner and Riley May each scored 8 points for Mount Pulaski.
