The young man drew the winning ticket for the
military themed quilt that was raffled to benefit the Atlanta
Memorial Community House maintenance fund. The lucky winner is a
truck driver that is a regular patron of The Dixie. When contacted,
he was very happy to receive the news of his win. He picked up the
quilt the 22nd of September.
The Atlanta Quilt Corner thanks all the buyers of
tickets for making this year’s raffle such a success. The quilters
are already working on next year’s quilt(s). Changes are being made
for our 2019 money making project.
