LINCOLN
St. John United Church of Christ Church, 204 Seventh Street in
Lincoln, will be joined in worship with the congregation of the
First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln for World Wide Communion
Sunday, October 7.
Worship service will be at 10:00 a.m. and the public is also
invited. The communion service will feature breads from all around
the world. St. John UCC practices open communion.

Worshipers are invited to wear ethnic clothing, jewelry, accessories etc. to the
service. Following the worship service a ‘little feast’ of ethnic food, will be
shared in Fellowship Hall. Anyone wanting to ‘share a food of their heritage’
would be accepted.
In keeping with the theme of worshipping together – on October 28th the church
family of St. John UCC will join the First Presbyterian Church family in their
church, 301 Pekin Street in Lincoln, for the Reformation Sunday celebration also
at 10:00 a.m.
