The Atlanta Public Library’s popular Tuesday morning program This
Golden Age kicks off on October 16 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the
Library.
This year’s theme is “Learn from the Locals,” and the Library will
feature discussions with local leaders whose work represents
outstanding features of the community. The program is free and no
sign-up is required. A continental breakfast is offered. The
Library’s community programming is sponsored in part by a generous
grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation Mirza Arts and
Culture Fund.
Neal Stimpet, Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta National Bank
will lead off the series on October 16 with a discussion of the
challenges and advantages operating a community bank.
