Frances Mae Schaub, 88, of
Middletown, passed away October 5, 2018 at Heritage
Health, Springfield.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at
this time.
Frances was born October 26, 1929 in Petersburg,
IL., the daughter of Deitrich and Anna (Weidhuner)
Koehne. She married Wilbur Schaub on January 28,
1949 in Mason City, IL. He preceded her in death on
July 19, 2018.
She was of the Lutheran faith. Frances worked as a
babysitter and as a cook for the New
Holland/Middletown schools.
Surviving are her children: Pamela
Pierce of Lincoln, Steven (Gloria) Schaub of Gibson
City, Susan Lowe of New Holland, Rick (Karen) Schaub
of Springfield, and Larry (Paula) Schaub of Lincoln;
grandchildren: John "Jack" Lowe, Matthew Lowe, and
Robert "Rob" Schaub; great grandchildren: Jameson
Lowe, Tyler Lowe, and Reina Schaub; and sister
Dorothy Sexton of Mason City. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, brothers Carl, George, and August,
and sister Anna.
Memorial donations may be made to the organization
of the donor's choice.
