The Lincoln College Men's Soccer team battled the cold, wind and even some snow to defeat the visiting Freed-Hardeman Lions by the score of 3-0. The victory avenges an earlier season loss to Freed-Hardman and lifts LC’s record to 4-5 on the season.

The Lynx came out aggressively and put pressure on the Lions right from the opening kickoff. Lincoln kept the ball on the FHU end of the field for most of the first half, but went into the break with only one goal to show for it and a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, LC turned up the heat and found the back of the net two more times to end the game 3-0. Lincoln outshot the Lions 21-7 and had 6 corner kicks to the Lion's 1. Goals for the Lynx were scored by Ignacio Ximenez (2) and Chicago native Peter Ukaegbu (1). Adrian Roman (Waukegan), Migeul De la Rosa (Ecuador) and Ukaegbu each picked up assists on the day as well.
