Mount Pulaski Volleyball sweeps Illini Central and celebrates Senior Night

[October 17, 2018] 

The Mount Pulaski Volleyball Team swept the Illini Central Cougars Tuesday night at the Ed Butkovich Gymnasium.

To kick off the volleyball action, the Lady Toppers JV team won 25-9 and 25-19.

The Lady Toppers Varsity team, featuring seniors Morgan May, Madison Thomas, Savanah Moore, Abigail Fitzpatrick and Skylar Hayes, also defeated Illini Central in two sets, 25-16 and 25-14.

In between games, the senior volleyball players were honored along with their parents.

The senior golfers were also recognized with their parents. This year's senior golf members were Noah Riedle, Ben Fricke, Tanner Farris and Ian Schneider.

Donna Dulle was also recognized for reaching 1,100 career wins.

The five seniors gave Coach Donna Dulle a framed photo that was autographed around the matted edge with a personal message from each.

Thank you for coaching me for the past 10 years. I'm proud to say that you're my coach and that I've been a part of your legacy. Donna and Bethany Dulle were also given plaques made by Solid Granite Solutions that featured the inscription:

"A GOOD COACH CAN CHANGE A GAME. A GREAT COACH CAN CHANGE A LIFE."

The autographs of the seniors were also inscribed on the plaque along with Class of 2019.
