WLNX-FM (88.9) and LCTV (Channel 5) Announce 2018-2019 Lincoln College Men's and Women's NAIA Inaugural Season Schedule

Lincoln College begins its first season in four year athletics as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and once again, the Lynx will have a major live media presence.

WLNX and LCTV will team up to broadcast the entire schedule of men's games for 2018-2019, along with 20 of the 30 scheduled women's games. Beginning this season, the stations will split up the live coverage of home and away games. All home games will air live on LCTV Channel 5, while all away games, including the entire men's away schedule and a select number of women's away games, will air live on WLNX-FM 88.9.

In all, 24 games will air live on LCTV, while 25 games will be heard on WLNX. The Illinois Broadcasters Association award-winning play-by-play team of Nik Jackson and Adam Hoffman return to the microphone to call the entire slate of both the television and radio broadcasts.

"As we rise to the NAIA level of four year athletics, we have ambitious plans for our broadcasts this season," said John Malone, WLNX and LCTV General Manager.

"We believe it makes sense to devote all of our resources to each individual TV and radio broadcast. Providing dual home game coverage on both radio and television no longer makes sense. Our radio audience will face less interruptions of the standard alternative rock music format, and our broadcasters are able to perform double duty for both media."

LCTV Channel 5 is now available worldwide via the "LCTV at Lincoln College" app, which is now available free in the Google Play Store. Negotiations continue with the Apple App Store, so the iPhone app is not yet available. iPhone owners are asked temporarily to access the feed through a web browser on either their smart phones or desktop PC.
