The two-goal game was the seventh of Jenner's
career and his first since he scored twice against the New
Jersey Devils on March 19, 2017. Duclair scored multiple goals
for the third time and the first time since he collected a hat
trick against the Ottawa Senators on Nov. 18, 2017.
David Savard, Josh Anderson and Seth Jones also scored for the
Blue Jackets, who scored their most goals since a 7-3 win over
the Edmonton Oilers on March 27.
Goalie Joonas Korpisalo recorded 33 saves as Columbus snapped a
two-game losing streak.
Vladimir Tarasenko, Jaden Schwartz, Alexander Steen and Zach
Sanford scored for the Blues, who allowed their most goals since
an 8-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Feb. 27.
Jake Allen stopped 17 of 21 shots for the Blues before he was
pulled following Savard's goal. Backup Chad Johnson allowed
three goals on 11 shots in relief as St. Louis fell for the
fifth time in six games.
Tarasenko and Schwartz scored within the first 13 minutes to
stake the Blues to the early multi-goal advantage.
But Jenner's first goal, a power-play score with 3:13 left in
the first, began a run of four unanswered goals in fewer than 13
minutes for the Blue Jackets, who tied the game and took the
lead when Duclair and Jenner scored 85 seconds apart early in
the second.
Savard extended the Blue Jackets' lead to 4-2 at the 8:58 mark
of the second before Steen pulled the Blues within a goal by
scoring with 8:30 remaining. But Columbus put the game away with
a three-goal flurry by Anderson, Duclair and Jones within the
first 6:03 of the third.
Sanford scored for the Blues with 7:24 left.
