Obituary
Vernon R. Banister, 61, of Lincoln
passed away on October 8, 2018 in his home.
Vernon was born on October 3, 1957 in Lincoln, the
son of Charles W. and Mary Jane (Hanson) Banister.
Vernon is survived by his sons, Dustin Banister and
Brandon (Tera) Banister; his brothers, Charles A.
(Linda) Banister, David (Becky) Banister, and Roy
“Willie” (Jo Ann) Banister. Additionally, Vernon is
survived by his seven grandchildren, Dekota William,
McKenzie Arlene, Zaily Nichole, Damian Ray, Kolby
Blade, Leland James, and Jace Idell.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents.

Vernon was a member of The Fraternal
Order of The Eagles Lodge #2708, where he had
previously served as President and Vice President.
A celebration of Vernon’s life will be held on a
later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Vernon’s name to
the donor’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
