Obituary
Harryet R. Sullivan, 85, of
Lincoln, passed away August 2, 2018 at St. Clara's
Manor.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. Graveside services will be
held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in New
Union Cemetery.
Harryet was born September 16, 1932 in Lincoln, IL.,
the daughter of Harry G. Read and Beulah (Brewster).
She married William A. Sullivan January 13, 1951. He
preceded her in death.
She was a Broadwell native, a homemaker,and a member
of Full Gospel Evangelistic Center. She took Swedish
classes and could fluently speak the language. She
was a member of VASA, Sons of Norway, loved horses
and judged Dressage for horse riding clubs. |
Surviving are her children: Richard
Thomas Sullivan (Dorothy), Janet Ruth Sullivan Pryor
(Herb), Jane Louise Sullivan, and Kenneth Eric
Sullivan (Misun); 4 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
son William Dale Sullivan, son Harry Glenn Sullivan,
and brother Thomas Brewster Read.
