        Jaquanda Stallworth sentenced to 7 years prison for Unlawful 
		Possession of a Controlled Substance
 On August 8, 2018, Associate Judge William Workman sentenced Jaquanda 
		Stallworth to 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for 
		Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class 1 felony.
 
 The case arises from a traffic stop that occurred on February 22, 2018 
		conducted by a Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy on Woodlawn Road in 
		Lincoln. Ms. Stallworth was a passenger in the vehicle. Upon being 
		searched, the Deputy located a clear package with a white substance. The 
		white substance field tested positive for cocaine and weighed 
		approximately 24.6 grams.
 
 Larry Lingo sentenced to 7 years prison for Two Offenses
 
 On August 28, 2018, Larry Lingo was sentenced pursuant to fully 
		negotiated plea agreement to 2 years in the Illinois Department of 
		Corrections for Theft, a class 4 felony, and 5 years in the Illinois 
		Department of Corrections for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled 
		Substance, a class 3 felony. The two sentences run consecutive to one 
		another for a total of 7 years in prison.

            Aram Pierce sentenced to 4 years prison for Aggravated Domestic 
			Battery
 On August 28, 2018, Aram Pierce was sentenced pursuant to fully 
			negotiated plea agreement to 4 years in the Illinois Department of 
			Corrections for Aggravated Battery, a class 2 felony. Mr. Pierce was 
			previously convicted of this offense and sentenced to probation. A 
			Petition to Revoke Probation was filed alleging violations of his 
			probation. Mr. Pierce admitted violating his probation and was 
			sentenced to prison. Unlike most class 2 felony offenses, Aggravated 
			Domestic Battery carries a term of mandatory supervised release 
			(formerly known as parole) of 4 years.
 
 Debra Maus sentenced to 1 year prison for Retail Theft
 
 On August 28, 2018, Debra Maus was sentenced pursuant to fully 
			negotiated plea agreement to 1 year in the Illinois Department of 
			Corrections for Retail Theft, a class 4 felony. The conviction stems 
			from a theft report taken at Dollar General in Lincoln that occurred 
			on October 29, 2017.
