Haslem, 38, reportedly will play for the
veteran's minimum. He has spent his entire career in Miami since
joining the team undrafted out of Florida in 2003.
"It's great to have our captain back," Heat president Pat Riley
said in a statement. "We're looking forward to having UD back
for his 16th season with the Heat."
Haslem played just 72 minutes in 14 games last season, totaling
eight points, 10 rebounds and five assists. He has averaged 7.7
points and 6.8 rebounds in his career.
Miami went 44-38 last season to earn the sixth seed in the
Eastern Conference playoffs. The Heat were eliminated by the
Philadelphia 76ers in five games in the first round.
