Among the pages of the magazine, LDN is going to
be asking for survivors to place their name on the Wall of Hope.
How we as a society address this disease is different for every
person. Some want to keep it to their self; while others want to
share with friends, loved ones, and community what they are going
through. In addition, there are privacy laws that must be respected
for any type of medical condition. Because of this, we are asking
that only the person in battle, sign the Wall of Warriors pages.
Please do not sign on behalf of a friend or family member.

To help gather these names, Lincoln Daily News has established a
separate email account for this campaign. If you are a survivor, we
ask you to email us at pink@lincolndailynews.com. Please tell us
your name and how long you are a survivor.

The LDN/CCA Relay for Life team “Friends & Family” will also have a
table set up on September 8th at the New Holland Tractor Show.
Again, Wall of Hope pages will be available and we ask that you take
a moment to stop by our table and sign in.

On September 29th, our relay team members will be at
the ALMH Farmers Market. Volunteers will be helping with the Power
of Produce section for kids, the “make-and-take” pumpkins, and also
assisting ALMH staff with health screenings. While there, breast
cancer survivors will also have an opportunity to sign the Wall of
			Hope pages for the magazine.
In addition, there will be two other events in October with signing
opportunities. Look for more details on the Pink Pumpkin Fundraiser
Auction, and the “Lean on Me” Survivor/Supporter Rally.

At these two events, guest books will be available for all in
attendees with an opportunity to sign as a survivor or a supporter.
Survivor names will be taken from the guest books and added to the
			online magazine.
