Riley Tungate scored the only run for Lincoln.
Tungate tripled and scored on an error. In fact, according to
Coach Emily Kohl, she told Tungate to stop at third and the
speedster got stuck in a pickle and as the catcher overthrew to
third base, Tungate came racing home with the only run of the
game.
Cara Farnam was the winning pitcher for Lincoln.
The Lady Trojans will play for the regional championship today
at 4:30 p.m. versus Williamsville in Williamsville.
