Contemporary Jazz Ensemble at Spirited Republic
Lincoln College Students to Perform Friday Night

[September 20, 2018]   LINCOLN - Members of the Lincoln College Contemporary Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Third Friday event in Lincoln, Friday night, Sept. 21, at Spirited Republic, 509 Pulaski, in downtown Lincoln.

For the past several years, Lincoln College jazz ensembles have performed at local venues. This will be the first time this fall that Spirited Republic has opened their doors to the College’s jazz performers.

“We really appreciate that local businesses are willing to offer their locations as a venue for our students to perform. It’s a great opportunity for the students to gain experience in a commercial environment,” said Denise LaGrassa, lead faculty member for the Contemporary Jazz Studies program at Lincoln College.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m and is free.
