Obituary
Virginia Bateman Canfield of McLean,
born March 15, 1936, to Helen Durbin Bateman, died
at home on September 12, 2018.
Wife of Dane W. Canfield for 64 years; mother of
Diana (David) Martin and Brien (Janine) Canfield;
and grandmother of Jason, Ashley, Aaron, Dane, and
Rose, and four great-grandchildren.
Virginia was raised by her Aunt Versa and Uncle
Berlin Bateman in Atlanta, alongside her brothers
and sisters, survived by Paul (Bridget) Bateman and
Joyce (Rudy) Polacek, and proceeded in death by Ray
(Donita) Bateman and Betty (Vern) McGuire.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations
may be made to the Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Fire and Rescue or the
McLean Cemetery.
A brief graveside service will be conducted at the McLean Cemetery
on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Carl Johnston
officiating.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta.
