The Atlanta Ag 4-H
Club recently spent a day participating in two different activities.
The first part of their day they worked the Atlanta Fire Department
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Offering support to local
organizations is a part of the community and character building
component of 4-H that teaches students to be civic minded.
Members set up, helped with food service and finished with clean up.
It was a hard work morning that entitled them to a little bit of fun
later in the day.
The club met later for an afternoon led by 4-H member Kyrah Zeschke
- Kyrah's Creative Corner. Each member had the opportunity to create
personal masterpieces on canvas, an artwork themed "Adventure is out
there."
While one would not usually pair pancakes and paint, on this
particular occasion, it worked out well for the members of Atlanta
