On May 10 from 5:30pm-8:30pm, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
hopes to remind Logan County women that you can’t take care of
others unless you take care of yourself. And so, for the sixth year,
ALMH is hosting a free Ladies Night Out, “Love Yourself Enough” to
Logan County women aged 21 and over.
“Ladies Night Out has become a very popular event for local women.
Each year we have a waiting list of individuals who aren’t able to
attend. We are thrilled to announce a new venue this year, (Knights
of Columbus Hall in Lincoln) that will allow us to offer the event
to even more women,” said Angela Stoltzenburg, ALMH Community Health
Collaborative director.
The doors will open at 5:30pm with a buffet dinner to be served at
6:00pm. Keynote speaker, Jill Savage, is scheduled to address the
topic of “Taking Care of Me” at 7:00pm.

Savage is a nationally known author and speaker and breast cancer survivor. She
believes that we should all give up on trying to be “perfect.” She is known for
her passion to encourage others. Angela Stoltzenburg will also share current
local health initiatives of the ALMH Community Health Collaborative.
“Women have a tremendous impact on their families and so we have to remember to
take care ourselves. When we are physically healthy and healthy-minded we can
create healthy families. Our Love Yourself Enough event puts the focus on them,
provides education and inspiration, and an opportunity to enjoy a night out that
nourishes our friendships and sense of community,” said Stoltzenburg.
The event is funded by the ALMH Foundation and hosted by the ALMH Auxiliary. To
