individuals who have supported the Outreach and Mission Ministries
of the church.

On Sunday, March 17th, following a
presentation and informal conversations about the Lincoln Police
Departments Safe Passage Initiative by Officer Christy Fruge,
President Warren Goetsch and Tonita Reifsteck, coordinator of the
Safe Passages program support at the church presented Officer Fruge
the certificate of appreciation for her support and continued
updates of information regarding the program.
That evening at a fundraiser for the Safe Passage Program at
Culver’s 10 percent of the gross receipts earned brought the total
donations to date to Safe Passages to just over $1000.00.
The church began fundraising efforts for narcan kits for the Lincoln
Police Department a few years ago. When the city of Lincoln added
narcan into its annual budget, the church switched to offering
financial support for Safe Passages.
Before switching the fundraising efforts the church raised $3208.39
for narcan. |
