LJHS places third overall at Carlinville Showcase Track Meet

There was 11 overall teams that participated at the Carlinville Showcase: Carlinville, Gillespie, Hillsboro, East St. Louis, Lincoln, East St. Louis Mason-Clark, Mt. Zion, North Greene, North Mac, Springfield Christian and Cahokia Wirth-Parks)

The (LJHS) 7th Grade boys took (3rd) Place Overall

7th Grade Boys 4X200m Relay of (Kion Carson, Dylan Gowin, Kani Carson and Aidan Gowin Placed (1st) breaking their own school record with a new time of 1:46.79.

The 4X400m Relay team of (Aidan Gowin, Kion Carson, Kani Carson and Dylan Gowin) placed (2nd) with a time of 4:06.84).

Dylan Gowin Placed (1st) in the 800m Run with a time of 2:25.30.

Aidan Gowin placed (1st) in Long Jump with a jump of 17 '2". Aidan also placed (3rd) in the 200m Dash with a time of (25.56).

Wyatt Mammen broke his own school record in Discus with a new throw of (123 '4") Wyatt also placed 5th in Shot Put with a throw of (29-'2.75").

Carson Franz Placed (5th) in the 110m Hurdles with a time of (19.22).

Lyric Whiteman placed (7th) in the 110m Hurdles with a time of (20.25).

Kion Carson placed (6th) in the 100m Dash finals with a time of (13.65).

Kani Carson placed (6th) in the 200m Finals with a time of (28.44).
