Which is better, a big bag of toys or
a KitKat bar? Well, it might depend on who you ask. Both of these
youngsters were delighted with the prizes they won at the Open Arms
Christian Fellowship Church Easter Egg Hunt in Lincoln on Saturday,
though it would appear that maybe the candy bar might have been the
more desirable gift.

The OACF in Lincoln hosted its
annual egg hunt in Scully Park this year. The hunt included a dash
for eggs for three different age groups, as well as bounce houses
for entertainment before and after the hunt.
|
|
The eggs were filled with small
candies, money, and little notes telling kids they could collect a
special prize at the table at the north entrance to the park. |
|
The Easter Bunny was also on hand giving hugs and "thumbs up" to all
the kids. |
|
The church boasted 10,000 eggs, and indeed the ground was a mass of
color before each segment, but within five minutes the kids wiped
each section clean as they dashed out from the starting lines and
quickly scooped up eggs by the hands full. |
