First Quarter Homes Sales

The first quarter of 2019 saw lower home sales numbers compared to
2018 for the same time period. The number of homes sold were down,
but the average and median prices for the homes sold were up. Houses
tended to be on the market a shorter period of time.
REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 59 homes in the
first quarter of 2019, 16 fewer than the 75 sold during the same
time period in 2018.
The average selling price for homes in the 2019 time period was
$90,440, up from $88,203 in 2018. Median prices were up as well,
$85,000 compared to $77,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market found houses on the
market for a shorter time with the average "Days on Market" in 2019 141 days.
This was 14 days shorter than the same time period in 2018.
