Lincoln wins 4-3 over Champaign Central

The Railsplitters battled back against Champaign Central on Monday, scoring the go-ahead run in the sixth inning and taking the 4-3 victory. 

Lincoln tied the game 3-3 in the top of the fifth inning on a fielder's choice by Alex Bogdanic.

An RBI single by Colton Holliday in the top half of the sixth inning put Lincoln up 4-3.

Holiday also started the game and earned the win for Lincoln. He allowed three runs on three hits and struck out six batters. Nate Arnold earned the save for the Railsplitters. He struck out two batters. Cameron Glick pitched an inning in middle relief and he struck out three batters.

Will Ewald led Lincoln at the plate. Ewald was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Colton Holliday was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Alex Bogdanic was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Justin Long was 2-for-3.

The Railsplitters improved to 12-10 on the season.
