Railsplitters suffer 16-5 loss to Normal Community

Lincoln took on Normal Community at the Corn Crib Friday night and a 10-run first inning by the Ironmen pretty much did the Railsplitters in. Normal Community won the five-inning game by a final score of 16-5.

 

Lincoln's offensive highlights included an RBI single by Justin Long in the top of the third inning and an RBI triple by Noah Funk in the top of the fourth inning. 

 

Long was 2-for-3 in the game with an RBI. Lead-off hitter Drew Singleton was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for Lincoln.

 

Dreyden Pozsgai took the loss for the Railsplitters. He gave up eight runs on three hits over one-third of an inning.
