			My Favorite Pie Auction raises $2,700

			After 
			the Chili Cook-off on Saturday, August 3rd, the annual pie auction 
			was held in the KC Pavilion to raise money for the Logan County Fair 
			Foundation. This year, the thirteen pies auctioned off raised 
			$2,700.

 The first pie up for bidding was Carlene Carter’s apple streusel 
			pie, which was purchased by the Sheley Group for $300.

 Carter’s cherry pie was purchased by Marcia Werner for $50 and her 
			pineapple streusel pie by Nancy Courtwright for $100.

 Next up was Diane McShane’s peach pie, which was purchased by Wayne 
			Hanner for $325, who also purchased McShane’s classic pecan pie for 
			$275. Her blueberry pie was purchased by LincolnLand Catering for

 Jamie Wibben’s pecan pie was purchased by Mike Maske for $250.

 David Carter’s southern pecan pie was purchased by Larry Stanfield 
			for $200.

 Darlene Crider’s strawberry rhubarb pie was purchased by Kevin 
			Ritchhart and Ritchhart’s Mobile Zoo for $275.

 Crider’s pecan pie was purchased by Kevin Courtwright for $150 and 
			her peach pie was purchased by Nuthatch Hill BBQ’s Brad Luckhart for

 Mary Johnson’s fresh strawberry rhubarb pie was purchased by Janet 
			Estill for $300. Her pecan pie was purchased by the Courtwrights for 
			$75.

 These generous bidders will enjoy some delicious pies as they assist 
			in raising money to help keep the Logan County Fair going.
