Hayes and Lawrence top winners in Junior Carcass Show

[August 12, 2019]  In the week following the Logan County Fair, the Junior Carcass show was held at the Atlanta Locker. Drew Hayes (left) was the winner of the Junior Department Pork Carcass and received a plaque sponsored by Tri-Pork and Conrady Pork Farm.

The winner of the Beef Carcass judging was Jayden Lawrence (right). The Beef Carcass plaque was sponsored by the Schwantz Farm in memory of Carl Schwantz. The judge for the event was University of Illinois Meats Judge Brandon Klehm.
