LINCOLN
Logan County Clerk Theresa Moore announced this week that local
voters will soon see new voter registration cards in their
mailboxes.
The Clerk's Office is performing an examination of voter
registration records in accordance with the Illinois Election Code.
A card will be sent to every registered voter within Logan County.
Each card is addressed to the voter's place of residence as stated
on their registration card. "We are asking that each registered
voter review the information on their new card and if correct, to
discard any past registration cards," Moore said.
Over 18,000 registered voters in Logan County will receive a new
voter registration card.

"We also ask that if you receive a card at your home for a previous resident or
child that no longer lives at home and is registered elsewhere, please return
the card to our office, or contact us by telephone at (217) 732-4148 or email at
treichle@logancountyil.gov."
If a registrant does not receive a card within the next two weeks, they are
advised to contact the Office of the Logan County Clerk. Those wishing to make
changes to their voter information or register to vote in Logan County may do so
in person with two forms of ID in the Office of the County Clerk or register
online (available to only Illinois Driver's License holders or Illinois ID
cardholders) at https:/lova.elections.il. gov/.
The county clerk's website,
www.logancountyil.gov, also has a wealth of information regarding voting and
registration, as well as other services performed by that office.
