Marie E. Mealman, 65, of Atlanta, passed away at her home,
surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 9:41
a.m. |

Marie E. Mealman, 65, of Atlanta,
passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving
family, on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 9:41 a.m.
Graveside Services for Marie will be held on
Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the
Atlanta Cemetery. Pastor Ernie Stone will officiate.
Marie E. McIntosh was born Sept. 5, 1953, in
Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of William and June
McGill McIntosh. She married Tim Mealman in 1982. He
preceded her in death in 1990.
Marie is survived by her children: Carolyn Park, J.R.
(Stacy) Park, Liana Mealman, and Harley Mealman; and
one granddaughter: Cheyanne Park.

She was preceded in death by her
husband; parents; one sister: Ellen Wallner, one
brother: Jim McIntosh; and one granddaughter:
Maranda Park.
Marie retired from the State of Illinois EPA Air
Quality Control. She had also worked for Lincoln
Development Center and the Illinois Department of
Corrections.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to
all.
Memorials may be made to Safe Haven Hospice or
Scleroderma Foundation.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
