							Obituary 
							Carol A. Mattingly, 63, of 
							Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 
							2019, at 2:15 a.m. at Advocate BroMenn Regional 
							Medical Center in Normal.
 A time of visitation with Carol's family will be 
							available from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 
							August 27, 2019, at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home 
							in Atlanta. A brief memorial service will be held at 
							5:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Chris Shandrow. 
							Cremation Rites have been accorded.
 
 A Celebration of Carol's life will then be held at 
							the Waynesville American Legion from 6:00 p.m. to 
							8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
 
 Carol A. Renfrow was born on December 14, 1955, in 
							Lincoln, the daughter of Calbert Anderson Renfrow 
							and Virginia Cook Renfrow.
 
 She is survived by her companion of many years: 
							Terry Lewis; her children: Jodi (Eric) Slater, 
							Travis (Rebecca) Stout, Erica (Molli) Mattingly, 
							Jared (Brandy) Mattingly, Geoffrey (Lindy) Lewis, 
							and Bryce Lewis; one brother: Terry (Carol) Renfrow; 
							one sister: Lisa (Chris) Carter; and eleven 
							grandchildren: Shelby, Ethan, Micah, Logan, 
							LynnMarie, Brayden, Piper, Raleigh, Audree, Brenley, 
							and Tara.

							Carol was preceded in death by her 
							parents.
 She graduated from the Olympia Community High School 
							in 1974. Carol retired from Advocate BroMenn 
							Regional Medical Center after 27 years of service. 
							She was a member of Compass Church in Normal. Carol 
							loved her family, camping, and traveling.
 
 The family would like to say a special thank you to 
							Bobby Jo Byrd, Lisa Bartels and Megan Magers.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Center 
							in Normal.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Atlanta.
