In the first round on Saturday afternoon the
Lady Wolverines knocked out undefeated Cissna Park by a final
score of 49-18. Piper Whiteman led WLB with 16 points. Lily
Holmes tossed in 12 points.
In the semifinals WLB got by Ottawa Marquette by a final score
of 30-23. Piper Whiteman and Jane Turner each led WLB with 7
points.
WLB (28-1) will play A-C Central (26-2) Thursday night at 7:30
p.m. for the state championship in Assumption.
