Culver’s fundraiser to benefit teachers and classrooms at Central Elementary School

The Outreach Ministry of St. John United Church of Christ will host a fundraiser at Culver’s on Sunday, December 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Outreach Ministry has added Central Elementary to their support of teachers who have for years funded the needs of students who have difficulty in acquiring the supplies they are required for their classes. St. John UCC has supported Lincoln Junior High School teachers for several years. In both instances the teachers supply a list of the most needed articles and members of the ministry go shopping and deliver to their storage closet.

The need for some special equipment for one classroom is the goal for this fundraiser.

Funds for most of the shopping is acquired through Culver’s fundraisers several times a year typically held on the third Sunday of a month.
