Clark Named 2019 ALMH Colleague of the Year

Emergency department and special procedures area nurse Jessie Clark of
Lincoln, Illinois has been named the 2019 Colleague of the Year at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. ALMH president and CEO
Dolan Dalpoas presented the award to Clark at the ALMH Holiday and Award
Celebration on December 6, 2019 held at the Knights of Columbus in
Lincoln. Clark was selected by her peers from the 2019 colleagues of the
month to receive the honor.

“I am proud to work at a hospital that is always striving to create
a better patient experience,” said Clark. “I love working at ALMH
because of my colleagues. They provide a supportive and fun work
environment.”
Clark has a variety of certifications including Emergency
Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN), Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma
Nursing Core Course (TNNC), and Cardiac-Vascular Nursing
Certification (CVNC-BC).
Clark was nominated by a co-worker for the honor who stated, “Jessie
is always attentive and caring towards her patients. She makes sure
that her patients have everything they need to be cared for safely
and effectively. If a patient ever needs anything, Jessie is always
the first to acknowledge them. I have never seen Jessie have a
negative attitude towards patients or employees. Jessie always has a
smile on her face and greets everyone with enthusiasm.”

Rogers (Emergency), Jeff Huffer (Plant Operations), and Bob Hashman (Dietary).
