C. Gordon Billington, 68, of McLean,
passed away at 10:43 p.m. on December 12, 2019 at
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

accorded.
Curtis Gordon Billington was born February 3, 1951,
in Lincoln, the son of Howard and Illean Girdler
Billington. He married Nancy A. Britton in St. Louis
on April 11, 1968. She preceded him in death August
2, 2017.
Gordon is survived by their children: Joe (Jenny)
Billington of Ohio, and Lori (Mike) Smith of Peoria,
six grandchildren: Josh (Samantha) Billington,
Amanda Billington, Addison Billington, Nicholas
(Cassie) Smith, Nathaniel (Amairani) Smith, and
Tyler Baird; one great-grandson, Thomas; one
brother, Ray (Ann) Billington; and two sisters,
Nancy (Jim) Fuller and Pam (Mike) Fuller. |
He was preceded in death by his
parents; one brother, Gene Billington; and one
sister, Clara Tabor.
Gordon was a union meatcutter and a member of UFCW
Local #536 of Peoria. He had worked at Krogers and
the Atlanta Locker.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan
County.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
