Kuhlman named December Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High
School

Amelia Kuhlman, daughter of Kati Buckles of
Athens and Jason Kuhlman of Elkhart, has been named
December-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. She was
selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship,
leadership, service, and character.

Amelia has stayed actively involved in numerous
organizations during her time at MPHS. She has been a member of FFA,
Drama Club, and Pep Band for 4 years. She has been a member of NHS
for 2 years and on Student Council for 1 year.
Amelia is a member of the Mount Pulaski Christian Church where she
has been a member of youth group for 4 years and volunteers at Big
Wednesday. Amelia also volunteers in the community with NHS, FFA,
and Student Council. She is also an employee at The Clothing Rack in
Sherman.
Amelia earned the Star Greenhand in FFA.
Amelia plans to attend Northern Illinois University and major in
Hospitality and Tourism.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by
Illinois National Bank.
