Send a link to a friend Saturday was family
Lego Day at the Lincoln Public Library. Several families came in out
of the cold to enjoy some time at the library playing with one of
America's favorite building block sets. Kids were assisted by
parents in building a variety of items, some simple, and some
extremely intricate. To help those who were having a little
difficulty getting started, the library staff provided suggestions
on cards for kids, such as 'make an animal' yielded a number of
four-legged friends. Others in the room went for something a little
more mechanical such as airplanes, and a little more architectural
such as homes complete with garages and cars parked inside.
