The Lady Railers hosted
Galesburg at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium Friday night and both
Lincoln JV and varsity
squads picked up wins.
The JV kicked off the
evening with an exciting 52-49 win.
Makayla Anderson not only
poured in 24 points to lead Lincoln, she also hit the
game-winning shot ~ a half-court buzzer beater to give
Lincoln the win.
Ava Gorens hit double
figures with 11 points.
The varsity
turned in a solid performance as well and earned the 38-35
win over Galesburg.
Leah Schneider led Lincoln
with 10 points.
Lincoln will host Mount Zion
Monday night for Senior Night. The Lady Railers will honor
their lone senior, Emma Konczyk. JV tip-off is set for 6
p.m. Varsity will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
