Carroll Catholic Seventh Grade Boys to play for State Championship

The Carroll Catholic Crusaders won two games at State on Saturday and will play for the 2019 Seventh Grade Class 1A State Championship. 

Carroll vs Royal Prairie

Carroll Catholic (18-3) defeated Royal Prairieview Ogden (19-6) by a score of 37-22 in their first game at State on Saturday afternoon.

Darren Stevens led Carroll Catholic with 18 points. 

Carroll vs Washington

The Crusaders (19-3) then beat Washington St. Patrick (23-3) by a score of 40-20 on Saturday night.

Darren Stevens led Carroll Catholic with 24 points. 

For the state championship the Crusaders (20-3) will play Griggsville-Perry (28-0) at 7:30 p.m on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at East Peoria Central Junior High School.
