Mount Pulaski controlled the
game in the first half, leading 13-5 after the first quarter
and 25-17 after the second quarter.
In the third quarter New
Berlin stole the lead, 35-33 the score.
Mount Pulaski came close in
the fourth quarter as Lane Murphy hit a three with
39.4 seconds remaining to keep the game tight, 47-45 the New
Berlin lead.
The Pretzels proved just a
little too much for the Hilltoppers down the stretch and
they packed the bus up for the trip home with a 53-48 win
to their credit.
