These scholarships are provided by the GFWC Illinois
Federation of Woman's Clubs. Winners will be selected by a panel of
judges from across the State of Illinois.
Scholarships include:

(Examples include but are not limited to Environmental Studies,
Forestry, Horticulture, Agriculture, Recycling, Land Management,
Oceanography, Marine Biology, Landscaping, Animal Rehabilitation

GFWC Illinois Cultural Exchange Scholarship, $500
(for high school or college students who plan to study abroad)

Students applying for the above listed scholarships must plan on
attending a college, university or vocational school located within the state of
Illinois during the Fall of 2019. Applicants are not limited to current high
school graduates. Potential students of all ages are welcome to apply. Past
applicants and/or winners may re-apply. Funds are mailed directly to the
school/university.
The deadline for all applications is February 15, 2019. Applications are
available through the guidance departments of Hartsburg-Emden High School,
Lincoln Community High School, and Mount Pulaski High School. They are also
available by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Marta McCall, 19
Westminster Dr., Lincoln, IL 62656. Winners will be notified of their status by
April 1, 2019.
