Raymond Roy Deavers, 95, passed away
at 2:55 a.m. on Friday February 1, 2019 at
Generations in Lincoln.
Raymond was born on February 12, 1923 in Lincoln. He
married Nellie Tomlinson in 1953. She preceded him
in death in 1987.
Surviving Raymond are his son Larry (Bev) Deavers of
Depere WI, four grandchildren: Mike (Kandice)
Deavers, Brent (Annie Willcome) Deavers, Sarah
(Ryan) Ankerson, and Kyle (Teri) Deavers, seven
great grandchildren: Landon, Hunter, Aubrey, Kloey,
Kortnee, Kade, and Cole and three step-children:
Buddy, Ruth, and Judy. He was preceded in death by
his parents. |
Services for Raymond will be 11:00
a.m. Wednesday February 6, 2019 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
with Larry Crawford officiating. Visitation will be
one hour prior to service. Burial at Richmond Grove
Cemetery will follow the service where full military
rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post
#263.
Memorials may be made in Raymond’s name to the
American Legion Post #263.
